"Person to Person - Satisfaction and Service are Our Business"
A Personal Message From Our Founder and CEO - Timothy Kilkenny
It never ceases to amaze me how well things are going at FullNet compared to how poorly some of our competitors and peers are doing in this industry. Just this past month I have seen companies like McLeodUSA (MCLDQ) and Global Crossing (GBLXQ.OB) file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.
By the Grace of God, we at FullNet are not only growing but also adding more services for your benefit. Here are a few examples just in the past few months:
- 24/7 Customer Support
- Web based email - access your email no matter where you are
- Additional phone lines and modems alleviating busy signals and increasing access speed
- Business DSL in a variety of speeds based upon availability
- Bess Internet objectionable and inappropriate website filtering upon request
- Email filtering - Provides significant decrease in "spam" messages received
(Presently available only to fullnet.net, lawtonnet.net, and galstar.com)
I am so excited about the latest addition to our services, I have asked our Vice President of Administration, Jon Jones, to be a guest contributor to this month's newsletter so you can read first hand how we continue to do the things necessary to merit your confidence. So, straight from FullNet's 24/7 Customer Support Center…heerrreeesss Jonny!
You Asked For It And We Listened
If you have called FullNet Communications lately, you will have noticed that you now have the option to either wait on the line to speak with a Customer Support representative or leave a voice mail. In the past we have only been able to offer the option of leaving a voice mail if all our representatives were assisting other customers. Many of you indicated that having the option to wait on hold was important and something you expected from us. As always, we not only listened to your suggestions, but we made the necessary investments to make it happen. It's our way of saying "Thank you" for continuing to be a part of the FullNet family!
Oscar On The Net
If you plan to put your 25 cents into the office pool or just a friendly "I bet you whatever" wager with your spouse or friend, then hedge your bet by using the Internet.
Legendary Las Vegas odds maker Johnny Avello set his Oscar odds weeks ago. How does he do it? He asks around, then "I see what people are saying on the Net." If he can, so can you. The best place online for getting into the heads of the folks at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences probably is right on its site at http://www.oscars.org. This will give you a better feel for how huge the Academy's head is, plus a complete list of nominees, which will be available on February 12.
Knowing what the critics are saying is also useful, so be sure to check out their movie reviews at Entertainment Weekly magazine's http://www.ew.com. Another important "buzz" indicator is knowing what the public likes. The box-office scores and movie clips are on the home page at http://www.ifilm.com. Of course if it's general insiders stuff or just behind the scenes gossip, go to http://www.aintitcoolnews.com.
I don't know about you, but every year as I'm watching the Oscars I say to myself "Gee, I wish I had cut out the list of nominees in the paper so I could keep up with what's going on." It's rare that I've seen even half of the movies that are nominated and so I have a difficult time remembering who goes with what. This year I'll go to http://www.oscars.org, print out my list, and I'll be ready. Even better yet, if you don't have the time, or you have something scheduled the night of the Oscars, the next day go to that same web site and print out the winners.
